Sevgi Defne Özkan
Economics and religious studies teacher, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Public School
- 1980 to 2016
- English
Istanbul Public School was my second home. I taught economics there from 1980 to 2016, mostly Year 9.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Sevgi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
