I got into calligraphy as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Bahir Dar Studio, which keeps me honest.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Selamawit
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Selamawit: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
