Sebastião Daniel Guimarães
Helping people break into design
- 🇧🇷 Santarém, Pará, Brazil
- Orchid Foundation
- Since 1984
- English, Portuguese, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 2,270 people through Orchid Foundation.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Sebastião
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Sebastião: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
