Santiago B. Rojas
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Maple Ridge Trades Guild
- Since 1988
- English
I've worked in masonry since 1988. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,480 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Santiago
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Santiago: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
