Samuel Tembo
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
- The Arusha Works
- Since 2013
- English, Swahili
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Arusha, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Samuel
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Samuel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
