Samuel James Opio

Musician with Nairobi Choir

  • 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
  • Nairobi Choir
  • 2002 to 2016
  • English, Swahili
I play sitar and choir direction. I started in 2002 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.

More about Samuel

I wrote my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Samuel: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
