I've worked in thatching from 1992 to 2001. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 440 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Salvador: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
