Salma Hamid
Choir director and singer
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Heliopolis Choir
- Since 1989
- English, Arabic
I play tabla and songwriting. I started in 1989 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Salma: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
