Salim Kipchoge Mutebi

Oil painting artist in Arusha

  • 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
  • Little Arusha Art Collective
  • Since 1989
  • English, French
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1989 at Little Arusha Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Salim

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Salim: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
