Sakura Naoko Murakami

Coached athletics for 21 years in Nagoya

  • 🇯🇵 Nagoya, Aichi, Japan
  • Nagoya Sports Club
  • 1996 to 2017
  • Japanese
For 21 years I ran the athletics program at Nagoya Sports Club in Nagoya. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
