I've coached swimming at Baobab Sports Club since 2003. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sabine
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Sabine: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
