For 43 years I have been the social studies teacher at Santa Fe Secondary School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Rubén: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
