Rowena C. Castillo

15 years teaching accounting in Manila

🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
Manila Public School
Since 1983
English, Filipino

I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 43 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never raise my voice.

More about Rowena

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

Subjects taught

Accounting Mathematics

What gifts mean to Rowena: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
