I coached baseball at Fort Worth Kilimanjaro Swimming Club from 2014 to 2023. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Rowan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Rowan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
