Rotimi Bello
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- The Heritage Trades Guild
- Since 2007
- English, Hausa
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 2007 in Ikeja and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
More about Rotimi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Rotimi: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
