I've coached badminton at Heritage Athletic Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
More about Rose
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Rose: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2012. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Philadelphia.
