I'm a textiles artist based in Kano. I've been making things since 1999 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ronke: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
