Rizky Lukman Winata
First-generation students mentor, Makassar
- 🇮🇩 Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia
- Andes Foundation
- Since 2006
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 940 people through Andes Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rizky
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Rizky: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
