Renata D. Escobar

Youth cross country coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Since 1999
  • Spanish
I've coached cross country at St. Joseph's Boxing Gym since 1999. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Renata

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
