I've coached cross country at Bakersfield Harmony Sports Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Reagan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the end-of-term party. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Rochester.
