Painting and decorating, done properly
- 🇮🇩 Ubud, Bali, Indonesia
- Old Beacon Repairs
- Since 1980
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1980. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,290 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Ratna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ratna: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
