I've coached baseball at Los Angeles Elmwood Boxing Gym since 1994. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
What gifts mean to Ramón: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
