I've played sitar from 1996 to 2013, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Rakesh
I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Rakesh: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
