Rachel R. Oliver
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices

My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 2007 in Los Angeles and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Rachel: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
