Rachel F. Singh

Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Greenfield Workshop
  • 1987 to 1998
  • English
I've worked in carpentry from 1987 to 1998. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 410 apprentices. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

What gifts mean to Rachel: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
