Quang Thiện Kieu
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇦🇺 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
- Since 1986
- English, Vietnamese
I've worked in masonry since 1986. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,520 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Quang
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Quang: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
