Qasim Salim Darwish
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Giza
- 🇪🇬 Giza, Giza, Egypt
- Highland Orchestra
- Since 2016
- English, Arabic, Spanish
I've played traditional drumming since 2016, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I try to remember everyone's name.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Qasim
I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
