I've spent 26 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Heritage University in Jakarta. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
