I spent 26 years as a lecturer in education at Ashford State University in Jakarta Barat. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a postal worker and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Tika
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

What gifts mean to Tika: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
