Prof. Sherpa
Professor of civil engineering, Kathmandu Institute of Technology
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Kathmandu Institute of Technology
- Since 2010
- English
I teach civil engineering at Kathmandu Institute of Technology since 2010, and supervised 12 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Prof. Sherpa
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Sherpa: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
