Kiran Tamang
Professor of astronomy, Windsor Institute of Technology
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Windsor Institute of Technology
- Since 1986
- English, Nepali
I teach astronomy at Windsor Institute of Technology since 1986, and supervised 13 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Kiran
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
Fields
What gifts mean to Kiran: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
