Prof. Saito

22 years teaching organic chemistry at Hope University

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Hope University
  • Since 1988
  • Japanese
I've spent 38 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Hope University in Shinjuku. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.

More about Prof. Saito

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

What gifts mean to Prof. Saito: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
