Dr. Hara
Organic chemistry lecturer, 2010 to 2022

- 2010 to 2022
- Japanese
I taught organic chemistry at Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2022, and supervised 37 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
More about Dr. Hara
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Hara: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
