Prof. Nikolaev

My subject is political science, and for 34 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Novosibirsk Institute of Technology.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Prof. Nikolaev
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Nikolaev: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
