Prof. Yakovlev
Professor of materials science, Elmwood College
- 🇷🇺 Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia
- Elmwood College
- Since 2015
- English, Ukrainian, French
I've spent eleven years as a lecturer in materials science at Elmwood College in Yekaterinburg. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
More about Prof. Yakovlev
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Yakovlev: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
