I've spent 19 years as a lecturer in nursing at Contagem State University in Contagem. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Prof. Guimarães
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
