Fabiana Alves
Professor of civil engineering, Sakura Polytechnic
- 🇧🇷 Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil
- Sakura Polytechnic
- 1990 to 2023
- Portuguese
I spent 33 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Sakura Polytechnic in Ribeirão Preto. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Fabiana
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Fabiana: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
