I teach organic chemistry at Envigado Polytechnic since 1989, and supervised 41 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Prof. Franco: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
