I spent 25 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Crescent State University in Bucaramanga. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
