I teach marine biology at Pioneer State University since 2002, and supervised 16 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Prof. Almeida: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
