Priya Jat

Tabla player and teacher in Thane

  • 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
  • Since 1983
  • English, Hindi
I play tabla and traditional drumming. I started in 1983 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.

More about Priya

I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.
