For 29 years I ran the rowing program at Jaffna Swimming Club in Jaffna. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Pradeep
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Pradeep: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
