I've coached badminton at Jaffna Ashford Boxing Gym since 1996. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Thilina: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
