Baking, done properly
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Old Los Angeles Trades Guild
- 2014 to 2025
- English
I've worked in baking from 2014 to 2025. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 200 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Pilar
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Pilar: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
