Pilar B. Chávez

Youth football coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Tlaquepaque Maple Ridge Athletic Club
  • Since 1980
  • Spanish
I've coached football at Tlaquepaque Maple Ridge Athletic Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.

More about Pilar

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
