Phượng Phương Thai
Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇻🇳 Cầu Giấy, Hanoi, Vietnam
- Greenfield Mentoring Circle
- 1979 to 2006
- English, Vietnamese, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,160 people through Greenfield Mentoring Circle.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Phượng
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Phượng: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
