Perla J. Mercado
Taught mathematics at Makati Grammar School
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Makati Grammar School
- 2003 to 2011
- English
For eight years I was the mathematics teacher at Makati Grammar School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my teenagers class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.

What gifts mean to Perla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
