Paul Mugisha Odhiambo
Thatching for 22 years in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Little Kasarani Trades Guild
- Since 2004
- English, Swahili
I've worked in thatching since 2004. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 570 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Paul
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Paul: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
