I've coached boxing at Bhaktapur Sakura Athletic Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Parvati
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Parvati: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
