Parker W. Acosta
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
- El Paso Repairs
- Since 1983
- English
I've worked in thatching since 1983. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,980 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Parker: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
